Informing Families, Building Trust sends e-mails to list-serve
subscribers and advocacy organizations about changes that may affect a
family with an individual with developmental disabilities. If you are not already subscribed, you can join the Informing Families ListServe.
Notices
that have been sent are listed from newest to oldest:
- The Children's Intensive In-Home Behavior Support Waiver (CIIBS) has been approved by the Federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services which means program enrollment can begin.
This flyer details how families with children with intensive behavioral needs are determined eligible for the program, what the program provides and when the program starts.

- The Planned Action Notice has just been released. This DVD provides more information about the Division of Developmental Disabilities' Planned Action Notice. A limited number of videos are available and can be requested using our DVD Request form. Or, you can view the DVD on line.

- House Bill 2078 is a bill which addresses the issues of people with developmental disabilities who are in correctional factilities or are in jails). - If you receive Employment/Day Services paid for by state-only dollars, you may be offered the choice to enroll in a Home and Community Based Waiver Services (HCBS) waiver program.
